MALALA YOUSAFZAI

( A TRIBUTE TO A GIRL BEHIND THOUSAND OTHERS)

“We may be feared,
but,
our fear can never overcome our strengths.”

Since born
being told,
education is not to hold
and, that ,
you are the caretakers
to behold.
A star was born
amidst this chaos.

Determined she,
combating the
brutish rules of Taliban,
kept paving ways
for her and thousand others.
Well, if one man can destroy everything ,
Why can’t one girl change it?
Nevertheless,
fancy times don’t last.
Constant setbacks,
abandoning schools,
everything left misruled.
But, as is said,
can we dim the brightness
of a shining star?
i guess no.
Choosing to continue,
her inspiration couldn’t
stop her to pursue.
Diary of a Pakistani girl,
when became the heartbeat
of every girl,
fear couldn’t conquer strength
and she proved it to the length.

Overwhelmed she,
influencing thousands,
a small twitch,
echoing in the silence.
Ending up with noble peace prize,
still continues to rouse
billions,
in the hearts of all.

I salute you,
young lady
not all raise voices
against these uncalled noises,
education is a must,
leave the gender rush
just you need a thrust,
to hold your rights, just trust.
As said, with guns you can
kill terrorists, but,
with education, terrorism.

“We may be feared,
but,
our fear can never overcome our strengths. “

  2. Beautiful! Malala is such a brave young woman. I remember hearing of her being shot on the bus on the way to school via the news and it broke my heart for her! I’m so glad that she has emerged a victor! I wish her nothing but happiness and success in everything she pursues!
